DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY PLUSH: CLOUD STRIFE Release: August 28th, 2016 With all the Final Fantasy updates as of late - XV, the Movie tie in, Dissidia potentially for the PS4, and the amazing remake of FF7, we all know to brace for all the new merchandise and tie-ins that Recently announced, Squeenix has prepared a plushie based on the Dissidia incarnation of one of FF's most famous lead characters: Cloud Strife! With no current image, all we know is that it will be consistent with the previous versions of a Cloud plush, stylized to retain all his iconic features, especially that spikey blond hair! We'll be waiting for the reveal.

Manufacturer: Hot Toys | Release: Q2-Q3, 2017 Hot Toys never fail to disappoint when it comes to making extremely realistic looking action figures. Just when we thought it could not get any better, it definitely does! Releasing between Q2 and Q3 of 2017, the 1/6th scale Iron Man Mark XLVI from Marvel's Captain America: Civil War will be flying its way around the world for fans to enjoy! At first we just thought it was an Iron Man suit from the new Captain America movie by Hot Toys which by itself is already pretty awesome, but then we realized it has 28 light-up points throughout the armor! Of course, what good is an Iron Man action figure if it doesn't come with a detailed likeness head sculpt of Tony Stark? The final prototype is not available yet available, however, we are absolutely certain it will look just like Robert Downey Jr to the dot! The chest armor plates can even be detached to reveal the inner mechanical design of the Mark XLVI suit. We wouldn't suggest you to try to temper with it though, you don't want Iron Man to suddenly fail to light up for you! (In the case that does happens, you might need to send it back to Stark Industries for repair.) The set also include a specially designed debris diorama figure stand to fill more impact on the marvelous Iron Man action figure. For those of you on Team Iron Man, the set even include a 1/6th scale Captain America helmet as a bonus for posing the Iron Man Mark XLVI victory for the team! RESIDENT EVIL UMBRELLA CORPS PlayStation®4 Xbox One™ [1st/3rd Person Competitive Shooter] Release: JUNE 30th, 2016 If there's anything that sums up what to expect in Capcom's upcoming 3v3 competitive shooter, Resident Evil Umbrella Corps, it's the prompt you hear in the beginning of a mission: "Objectives Confirmed - Kill anything that moves." We had a chance to play Umbrella Corps when it premiered at the 2015 Tokyo Game Show, and we can honestly say that it was simply a lot of fun, making it a title we've been personally invested in. Capcom is trying once again, with this action focused spinoff, to create something immediately accessible and intensely fast-paced; with a tight 3v3 setup and a focus on close quarter battle (CQB), the first impression was how much it felt like a real life session of airsoft in a similar scenario. Reactions and tactics have to be executed perfectly through team communication, reflexes, and the ability to take and hold cover points. It's worth mentioning thought that the similarity between the game and reality end at this impression. In Resident Evil Umbrella Corps, or at least what makes it associated with Resident Evil, are the locations that these matches take place in as well as what inhabits said locations. Players will find themselves in familiar settings such as the first village of Resident Evil 4, or the wartorn shanties of Resident Evil 5, amongst other iconic places; each place has their own iteration of zombies, so for RE4, expect to see the return of Plaga infected Ganados~  The analog cover system is another nice touch. Players can stick to cover with a button press locking them in place, and from there they can manouver within that position - depending on controller trigger presses, more of the player will be revealed, so it's a clever mechanic that forces a dynamic of defense vs offense. Cover will be destroyed though, and in such close combat orientated maps, staying around for too long in one place will often mean a "YOU DIED" screen prompt, especially if an enemy player sneaks up behind you for a delightful one hit kill called "the brainer," which is exactly what it sounds like. If caught in time though, both players can viscously duel it out. Finally, another feature unique to Umbrella Corps is how players can interact with Zombies. They can be used against enemies, made into ad-hoc cover, or even as a shield, provided the right equipment is in a player's setup. Now, with the newest trailer, there's been an additional single player mode with missions and objectives, as well as a horde mode for added challenge. While this is a great addition, we strongly recommend this upcoming title to those who are looking for a game where they just want to team up with friends and play something where the situations in battle change within a blink of an eye - it really is that fast!
However, if you don't mind digital, the Japanese Special Edition comes with some interesting extras. Based on the costume in game, it's perfect for the Airsoft enthusiast (who happens to own all the RE replica BB guns) and comes with a digital code attached for the game ;)

Ready For Some Reverse Interrogation? Bullet Girls 2 Release Imminent! BULLET GIRLS 2 PlayStation®Vita [3rd Person Shooter] Release - April 21, 2016 The time is here! Bullet Girls 2, the pinnacle of Fanservice focused gameplay is almost out for the PS Vita! You can almost feel the natto and mayonnaise bursting out from the seams! Ok, if that last sentence meant nothing to you, that's because you're cheating yourself - go ahead, treat yourself. Bullet Girls 2 is the perfect game for a specific target audience: people who like girls with guns... and fanservice. Literally the entire game is constructed on this facet alone; the exciting 3rd person shooting has clothing degradation, costume (undergarment) customization brings stats modification, and the notorious interrogation feature wraps it all up with some of the most risque gameplay available on the market right now. For the latter, players must use creative ways to interrogate the girls under the premise of extracting information; however, based on the newest trailer above, one can see that the means to do so is anything but orthodox. Effective? Perhaps. Ecchi? Definitely. SUPER ROBOT WARS OG: THE MOON DWELLERS (ENGLISH) PlayStation®4 [Simulation RPG] Release: Summer 2016 We believed it the first time, but it's always nice to have confirmation. With the second trailer for Super Robot Wars OG: The Moondwellers out today, Publishers Bandai Namco Games Asia have taken the liberty to translate the video and it's really really official! After what seemed like forever (or at least since the times of Game Boy Advance), SRW will be in English for the PS4, in this Asia Physical Exclusive! As the first Super Robot Wars title to make its way to the PS4 the game promises battle scenes and animations with beautiful graphics, as well as the series' highest sense of immersion yet. And if the development team are to be believed the special moves and new mecha should be a spectacular site to see! The strategy battle game where players can put together teams of two robots will now allow players to choose from two story paths as well — one that follows Touya (easier) and the other with Calvina (from Super Robot Wars J). Super Robot Wars OG: The Moon Dwellers has also introduced the option to start in 'Beginner Mode' with a 'Guidance Scenario' system that makes it easier for new players of the series to enjoy the game fully, as more funds and upgrade parts will be made available to them. Fior those who've never played an SRW title, think of Fire Emblem but with all your favorite Mechas from famous licensed series duking it out on a tactical grid; the best part are the over the top special moves and just having a massive crossover take place; if you like officially sanctioned fan fiction, then this is it! #HYPE

With the second season of the Attack on Titan anime being pushed back to the second half of 2016, you can bridge this delay with the two live action movies, the first of which will be released on Hong Kong DVD with english subtitles on Thursday. Pre-orders open for April, 20th. Unless you have been living under a rock for the last 3 years, you should have at least heard of the anime Attack on Titan or seen its iconic deranged-cannibal-zombie-giants with their idiot grins. While the second season of the anime has been pushed back to the second half of 2016 due to the production of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, you can bridge this delay with the two live action movies, the first of which will be released on Hong Kong DVD with english subtitles on April, 20th. An important fact first: this is not an all faithful adaptation of the Attack on Titan you saw animated on television. Similar as to how The Walking Dead treats its source material, the live action movies keep key scenes, characters, plot points and imagery recognizable, but often have a tonal shift that leaves open new possibilities. This version of Attack on Titan combines the bleak and gory atmosphere of a zombie film with elements of disaster and even kaiju movies. And in vein of the recent YA movies being "dystopian", this story is set in the post-apocalyptic future, not past, with destroyed remnants of the 20th century clearly recognizable. With all these changes in place, it should not come as a surprise that Director Shinji Higuchi, a veteran on kaiju effects who also worked on Neon Genesis Evangelion, is slated to co-direct a 2016 reboot of Godzilla, who just happens to look like he's grinning too widely and behaves a little titanesque in the trailer. Please note that the first movie is on a region code 3 DVD and the second movie and the season one box sets below both have no english subs.
