Learn of Kazuma Kiryu's younger years in 'Yakuza 0', coming March 2015!
YAKUZA 0 / RYU GA GOTOKU ZERO: CHIKAI NO BASHO
PlayStation®3 PlayStation®4 [Action Adventure]
Welcome to 1980's Japan, the setting for Sega's upcoming Yakuza prequel!
The economic bubble of the mid to late 80's will be playing a central role in both the plot and gameplay of Yakuza 0. Money has always been a key factor in the Yakuza series and will hold even more power in Yakuza 0, especially with the setting and increased focus on business management mechanics (according to the panel at TGS).
Money will also maintain the purchasing power for your character's stats and skills upgrades. One of the key money-making mechanics has gone through a big change: money will now start flying out of your opponents as you beat them up, rather than having to wait until the end of the fight to collect it.
The story will follow 20 year-old Kiryu, who will be competing in Kamurocho’s real-estate market, against the financial power of five billionaires, in an effort to exert influence over the district. As evidenced by gameplay footage, simulation aspects will be central to the business gameplay - allowing Kiryu to systematically gain control over the area.
At the same time 24 year-old Majima will be running a hostess club, a concept that will be familiar to fans of Yakuza 4 as the mechanics will remain very similar. Players will have the ability to customize their club's appearance as well as hire girls off the street. Players will be able to assume the roles of both Kiryu and Majima.
The game also includes over 100 sidequests which are said to play a critical role in your overall playthrough. The quests will provide you with another source of money as well as recruit bodies for your crime empire!

Dragon Ball is returning to home consoles in 2015, and one of the coolest announcements yet is that YOU, the player, will be the newest fighter to join the roster!
Dragon Ball Xenoverse promises a wide variety character customization features, including physical features from the various Dragon Ball races (Earthling, Majin, and Namekian - with more to come). Customization doesn't stop at appearance, as the game's time travelling hero you will have to choose your Dragon Ball character's fighting style and abilities by training under a 'Master'.
Each Master will have different skillsets and patterns depending on who the player chooses (Goku, Vegeta, etc.) Your chosen Master will also be able to join you on the battlefield should you need assistance.
Xenoverse is filled with time travel, so who better to be your guide than Trunks? Trunks will show you around Toki Toki City, the primary hub in the game, and introduce you to places like the "Toki Storage Room" - a place where players can meet other players, train with their master, or take part in story mode and co-op quests. TOMB RAIDER DEFINITIVE EDITION
PlayStation®4 [Action Adventure]
Lara Croft invites game enthusiasts once more into her pistol-wielding origins story in Tomb Raider Definitive Edition. Developed by Crystal Dynamic the Definitive Edition doesn't make large changes from the last generation's editions in terms of gameplay but there is no debate about how it looks on next gen consoles: damn good. This Tomb Raider title emphasizes the remodeled origins of Lara. Stunningly realistic graphical improvements coupled with the already existing intense gameplay and a riveting storyline makes this title a must-have for Action Adventure fans - especially at a new low price!
For the very first time in the Tomb Raider series multiplayer options will be available. Players can compete with each other across several different multiplayer maps and modes, which includes: Team Death Match (a simple player vs. player combat scenario). Private Rescue (a time limited mode in which certain class of teams are assigned to accomplished specific tasks), and lastly the Cry for Help mode (a team needs to accomplished a task and survive being hunted by the others). In all three modes, destructible environment and acquired weapons can be carried over from the single player campaign.
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition | PlayStation 4 | US | US$ 19.99 | 1-5d |
XboxONE™ [Action / Multi-pack]
In a salute to fans, Master Chief's entire story is finally available on one system! The Master Chief Collection will be featuring a beautifully re-mastered Halo 2: Anniversary, along with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4, the new digital series Halo: Nightfall, and access to the Halo 5: Guardians Beta -- seriously guys, this is the full Halo experience.
It seems Microsoft and 343 Industries' goal with MCC is to familiarize new players with the expansive story in preparation for Halo 5's release, but they are doing so much more than just upgrading some textures. Halo 2 will have extra narrative points scattered throughout the game, a sort of breadcrumb trail left by the developers to give players a deeper and more detailed understanding of the Arbiter. Blur Studio is also creating a narrative for the prologue and epilogue of the Master Chief Collection as well as roughly 50 minutes of cinematic footage; designed for those who haven't delved into the franchise's vast amounts of expanded fiction.
Returning veterans (all players, really) will enjoy the fact that every campaign mission from every game is unlocked from the start! This gives 343 Industries the chance to introduce curated playlists that allows you to jump around the best moments from all four games' campaigns back to back.
Like it's predecessor you will be able to instantly switch between old and new graphics, and when they say instantly they mean it. There is no pause when you make the swap, in fact the live demo during the presentation showed the player jumping back and forth between the two, in the middle of battle, with no technical repercussions.
The Halo love doesn't slow down there: every map that's ever shipped for a Halo game is included in the MCC, that even includes maps that were exclusive to PC ports of the first two titles. Six of Halo 2's classic maps have received a complete graphical overhaul.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection | Xbox One | US | US$ 38.99 | 1-5d |
DEMON GAZE
Kadokawa and Experience studios have brought a brand new face to the genre of Dungeon RPGs! Demon Gaze combines exciting battles, eerie labyrinths, and incredibly immersive scenes that grab the player and drag them directly into the story. The story throws players into a world where they are the owner of 'a third eye'. These chosen warriors have the power to subdue demons and even recruit them into their arsenal.
With your team of demons in tow, set out to the labyrinths of Misrid to fulfill various tasks and missions. Demons have specific powers, and can be very useful during battle, however, be careful, because they can go berserk and attack your comrades if you mess up! And besides battling monsters, you also have to brave the heart-pounding naughty events that the girls will almost definitely involve you in. Harem!
Demon Gaze | PlayStation Vita | US | US$ 27.99 | 24h |
HYPERDIMENSION NEPTUNIA RE;BIRTH1
PlayStation®Vita [RPG]
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 is a complete revamp of the original PS3 title Hyperdimension Neptunia - including a laundry list of improvements to the graphics, battle system, game mechanics, and events!
The fourth wall takes a pretty obvious beating in Rebirth 1, set in the the world of 'Gameindustri' - protected by four power-hungry Goddesses called 'CPU'. The whole game is littered with video game references - and the incredibly meta 'Console War' is a pretty apt parody of the last generation of consoles. Players will take on the role of Neptune, whose childish personality and plethora of energy makes for a fun character to journey with!
The battle system is a huge improvement on its own and borrows the system used in Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, abandoning the traditional standing line-up battles featured previously and replacing it with a free-movement combat system. Returning players will find the 'Scout System' missing and the 'Remake System' in its place. This new system allows players to customize and make changes to to the game itself by obtaining plans for discs.

ALIEN: ISOLATION
Alien: Isolation is largely focused on stealth mechanics, and unlike most video game adaptations of the Alien franchise Alien: Isolation features few Aliens throughout its duration requiring the player to go unnoticed in order to survive being hunted. That doesn't mean there is no shooting, you will encounter humans and androids to get your FPS fill but it should not consume the gameplay. In fact, increasing your light or sound makes it all the easier to be found.
All that said the most exciting aspect of the game is the Alien and it's AI, and how it will track down our protagonist. Both you and the Alien will have ways to thwart each other through the non-linear level (reportedly featuring multiple exit and entry points) but the developer's goal is to make you feel like the AI is tracking you, learning from you, and toying with you. If that isn't unnerving enough, you will be unable to track the Alien's specific location and have no information at all if the Alien is not moving.
Adding to the immersion, the game will feature no on-screen HUD forcing you to inhibit your attention while using your inventory items to gather information. The developers even go so far as to introduce a depth-of-field effect making it impossible to see the Alien's location and what is in front of you at the same time. Alien: Isolation also features a crafting system allowing the player to create weapons and tools to defend themselves. The items used for crafting appear in randomized locations throughout the levels, forcing players to explore in order to find them on each playthrough instead of memorizing their locations.
