The Sexy Fox Ladies Of Muramasa: The Demon Blade!

MURAMASA THE DEMON BLADE 1/8 SCALE PRE-PAINTED FIGURE: YUZURUHA
Manufacturer: Alter | October 2016

From the Wii game Muramasa: The Demon Blade which was later redeveloped for PlayStation Vita as Muramasa Rebirth comes a 1/8th scale pre-painted figure of fox spirit Yuzuruha! She is a Fushimi fox that is rarely seen in her original fox form. Donned in the human form, Yuzuruha accompanies the playable character Kisuke in his travels.

Toy manufacturer Alter, as they always have, perfectly recreated her iconic art inside the game into a 1/8th scale PVC figure. Sculptor Tanaka Sen'u faithfully followed Yuzuruha's structure to the point that even her physique is easily seen on her robes. From the strands on her volumed silver hair, it is obvious that much time and attention has been put into making it flawless. To add to the finishing touch, the ground beneath her along with environmental details are included.

As with all other figures Alter has ever created, the price is expected to skyrocket after release so we wouldn't recommend to hesitate to reserve your copy!

MURAMASA THE DEMON BLADE 1/8 SCALE PRE-PAINTED FIGURE: KONGIKU
Manufacturer: Alter | Release: November 2016

Kongiku is back! A fox servant just like Yuzuruha, she is thoroughly seen showing deep affections for Jinkuro. Originally released in 2013, Alter is finally making a re-run for Kongiku by popular demand together with the announcement of Yuzuruha! Don't forget to get her together with Yuzuruha if you missed your previous chances to do so!

She is so popular to the point that even the manufacturer Amakuni decided to make a 1/7th scale hot spring version of her (NSFW) to be released in January 2017!

The Tag-Along - Taiwan's highest-grossing horror film of the last 10 years. Out now on HK DVD and Blu-ray.

One of Taiwan's most notorious urban legends comes to unholy life in this box-office hit from 2015. On HK DVD and Blu-ray with English subs and  creepy children!

THE TAG-ALONG

The premise of The Tag-Along is an urban legend that has fascinated and spooked Taiwan since the 1990s: a famous home video that was shot in Taichung by a group of climbers and broadcast on television in 1998 shows a little girl in a red dress following the group on their hike. She could be seen tagging along one specific hiker who passed away shortly after.

When the family sat down and watched the video, no one remembered seeing the girl at any time during the trip. After handing the video over to a TV station, the family member who provided the tape died in a car crash.
In the years since, people who passed that mountain area reported sightings of a little girl in a strange red dress and so people started to believe she is Moxina, a mountain demon that steals children and the elderly.

Director Wei-Hao Cheng takes the tale and gives it a twist of eco-horror cinema. That seemed to have hit a nerve as The Tag-Along has become Taiwan's highest-grossing horror film in the last 10 years and feels like a last hurrah of asian horror movies until Sadako vs. Kayako will put the genre to rest.

With their customary nonchalance about their continual releases of games with ecchi flair, Compile Heart, makers of such lewd gems like the Moe Chronicle series just dropped a teaser trailer about their newest game for the Vita: Genkai Tokki Seven Pirates!

While an immediate impression of the scant gameplay featured so far leads to easy conclusions, producer Norihisa Kochiwa has stated, "At first glance, you might only see the game for its sex appeal, but we're thoroughly producing its contents."

A pirate girl named Parute is in the middle of a voyage to find treasure when she is dropped into the ocean by a monster child wearing a bra on its head named Otton that suddenly appears.

—And the place where she finally arrived is the "Monsupi Sea," a phantom sea rumored to be hiding treasure.
Will she find the treasure within the Monsupi Sea and return back home safely…?

Genaki Tokki Seven Pirates' combat consists of four party members fighting in command-style turn-based battles. When the battle begins the character turn order, which is displayed at the bottom of the screen, is decided and players carry out their actions in that order.

Collaborating with developer Felistella, the team behind the inner RPG workings of Compile Heart's flagship RPG Neptunia, Genkai Tokki Seven Pirates aims to approach audiences who enjoy the traditional experience of Japan's favorite gaming genre, as well as those who enjoy Japan's other favorite genre: fanservice.

Speaking of the latter, of which Compile Heart is now notorious for, Seven Pirates will not feature any male characters, and opts to focus on the adventures of seven pirates on the seas infested with harems of monster girls. Even the main girls themselves are monster inspired by the likes of krakens, skeletons, and even slimes.

As such, stats and gameplay will revolve around an incredibly in-depth chest growth mechanic, and while this this has been done by other similar titles like Omega Labyrinth by D3 Publisher, Genkai Tokki Seven Pirates makes a drastic change, catering to the ever growing pattenko community.

According to producer Norihasa Kochiwa players will be able to use the Vita's touch screen functionality by thoroughly and vigorously rubbing the girls' chests to cause size changes which effect the respective character's stats. While it is expected that such action would exclusively cause the chest to grow, resulting in higher attack and defense, it is also possible to shrink in size, thus creating a character with complete superiority in speed and agility. True balance.

If anything, Compile Heart is very good at being one of the spearheads for the ecchi gaming genre, and with this new announcement, it's nice to see that they are considering all the different angles for fans to appreciate. Releasing this summer, we can't wait to report on all the information we expect to come soon!

Garm Wars: Sci-Fi eye candy from Mamoru Oshii on HK Blu-ray and DVD!

Ghost in the Shell's very own Mamoru Oshii's first English-language apocalyptic sci-fi adventure featuring illusive visuals, Cyborgs, Tanks, Mechs, Lance Henriksen and a sacred basset hound. What could one wish for more?

GARM WARS

"Garm Wars" tells the story of the three warring Garm tribes and their fight for supremacy over the planet of Annwn. Those three tribes, who are the cloned remnants of a much larger civilization, are called the Briga (who control the land), the Columba (who control the air) and the Kumtak (who control IT).

Through fateful circumstances, the Kumtak priest Wydd (Lance Henriksen), a metal masked druid named Nascien, their dog, the Briga pilot Stellig (Kevin Durand) and the Columba elite fighter Khara22 (Melanie St-Pierre) start on a quest to discover the origin and meaning of their life cycle of conflict, death and (digital) rebirth. Or as one character puts it "We fight, we die, we download!" Sigh. Haven't we all been there?

Garm Wars is Ghost in the Shell's very own Mamoru Oshii's first English-language apocalyptic sci-fi adventure. As is common with his live action movies, the plot is quite convoluted and touches upon typical Oshii-topics of blurring borders between organic and artificial life, reality and the virtual space.

The plot and production design are obviously influenced by classic space operas like Dune, steampunk mechanics and high fantasy fiction. The illusive visuals are underscored by regular Oshii-composer Kenji Kawai, who has been working for him since his Patlabor-days. What came out of that mix is fantasy Sci-Fi eye candy featuring a haunting soundtrack, Lance Henriksen, Cyborgs, Tanks, Mechs and a sacred basset hound.

A new Gantz movie is on its way and we have the films from 2011 on special offer!

With a new movie coming out later this year, we have a special offer on the two movies that were made in 2011.

GANTZ

Gantz: O hits Japanese movie theaters on October 14, 2016 and you can check out the first trailer here. It will be a CGI adaptation of the Manga's "Osaka Arc" that sees the Tokyo and Osaka groups team up against some of the most dangerous aliens in the Gantz-universe.

f you had no contact to the world of Gantz yet, be prepared for one of the more illustrious classics in Manga. The story starts with two friends who die in a subway accident but instead of going to the afterlife, find themselves in a room with a strange black orb called Gantz. Them and a handful of others are meant to participate in a "game" where they are equipped with futuristic weaponry and forced to hunt down and kill aliens.

With rising levels of danger, it becomes obvious that "game over" is not necessarily the end for the participants.

The Manga counts as one of the more mature titles in the backlog of classics. A two season Anime series followed and in 2011 the story was turned into a 2-part movie with similar production value as Death Note or Assassination Classroom.
