Beware Of The Thunderstorm! ARTFX J Red with Pikachu Figure!

ARTFX J POKEMON 1/8 SCALE PRE-PAINTED FIGURE: RED WITH PIKACHU
Manufacturer: Kotobukiya | Release: November 2016

I choose you, Pikachu!

The childhood friend we all grew up with, Red (or Ash Ketchum) along with his best friend Pikachu from Pokemon, are now officially an addition to Kotobukiya's ARTFX J line of figures! Red & Pikachu is scheduled for release in November 2016!

The pair are perhaps one of the most well known characters in gaming history, and it is easy to understand why so many toy manufacturers worldwide dedicate a big variety of merchandises surrounding Red & Pikachu as well as other characters/Pokemon too. And now even Kotobukiya's ARTFX J line, which dedicates their work to making statues of famous Japanese works for fans all over the world, decides to go back in time to make a 1/8th scale figure of the fan favorite inseperatable pair! Red stands at approximately 18.5cm and Pikachu at 7cm.

One can never forget how Red and Pikachu didn't get along at first with Pikachu refusing to get inside the Pokeball even after numerous attempts. Throughout their journey they eventually learned to trust each other and become the best of friends traveling far and wide together. This figure perfectly captures the level of trust they were able to gain as Red sends Pikachu into battle against their opponent. Pikachu, who would fight tirelessly for Red at this point, is completely hyped up and ready to use his skills which you can see from the electricity sparks emitted from his cheeks!

From the detailed use of vivid colors and careful work of sculpting, we just simply cannot find any flaws to this figure of Red with Pikachu. Put this into your collection and you'll have a nostalgic trip down memory lane whenever you see them!

Berserk Musou: Starting from the Golden Age! Famitsu Interview Translated

Koei announced a brand new "Warriors" game, but this time it is based around the famous gore-fest manga Berserk! Famitsu had a chance to sit down and have a talk with  Koei Tecmo Games President, Koinuma Nissan to talk more about the game. We translated the following interview below for your viewing pleasure.

Could you tell us why you decided to make a Warriors game using the Berserk manga?

Koinuma: Since the new Berserk anime is beginning in July, we thought we would create a game alongside the anime to really get the fans hyped up. From the early days I've read the Berserk manga and there are a lot of staff members including one of our directors that is a fan of the series so I just thought "Hey, we should try and make a Berserk game!".

Oh, and we also had a questionnaire printed on the December 3rd issue of Famitsu asking fans which IP would everyone like to see become a Musou game, in fact Berserk was on that list!

Re..really?

Koinuma: We already decided on the project prior to the questionnaire, lucky for us Berserk managed to rank in so we were relieved.

Everyone would agree that Guts and his gigantic sword would work well in a Warriors game environment. While we are on the subject, we only get to see Casca in the teaser trailer and so I want to ask how did you imagine the trailer?

Koinuma: It's exactly what I did with the Fist of the North Star Warriors teaser. We had a single scene where Yuria was falling and we decided to do the same concept with the Berserk teaser. Click to read full story

But Is It Art? - Paper Mario: Color Splash For The Wii U!

PAPER MARIO: COLOR SPLASH

Wii U [Action/Adventure] October 7, 2016

The Paper Mario franchise is an extremely popular series within the Nintendo community, with many incredibly dedicated players enjoying these games. Last year in March, Nintendo announced the next installment in the series Color Splash. From stunning paper-craft visuals to witty dialogue and new characters, Nintendo provides players with yet another visually appealing and fun game to anticipate!

Color Splash once again introduces fans to the world of Paper Mario, with its reinvented paper-craft environment providing players with an amazing world to explore, and places the iconic Mario into yet another tricky dilemma. No, Princess Peach hasn't been captured, instead it seems that trouble has come to their doorstep in the form of a folded toad with no colour. Mario must travel to Prism Island and uncover the mystery of the folded toad and save the day once more. With a trusty paint hammer in hand, Mario travels across the island repainting the world, collecting 'paint stars' at the end of each level, and helping the toads along the way.

The game introduces new, or improved, features to the Paper Mario series, creating interesting gameplay for the players to experience as they progress through the story. A key combat feature of the game would be the battle cards. Playing somewhat like a turnbased battle, Mario and his opponent(s) take turns in exchanging damage between each other in the form of battle cards. Collected from previous fights or the surrounding environments, they provide the player with a variety of attack moves used to defeat the enemy, which they must use wisely to exploit the enemy's weakness and win the battle. Moving away from combat based abilities, as the game is Paper Mario, players are now able to cut out sections of their paper environment to solve puzzles, explore different areas, reveal secrets, and more! Manipulating your ingame environment has never been so literal.

Though the game seems promising and enjoyable, upon its announcement, Colour Splash received a hefty amount of negative backlash soley based on the glimpse of the game in E3 and some similarties between the previous game, Sticker Star. All across the internet, huge debates between Nintendo fans have taken place on whether or not the game will be good with some people going so far as to try and create a petition to have the game cancelled... Yikes.

We would rather reserve judgement for when we actually play Color Splash, and enjoy it for the game it is rather than constantly drawing comparisons between past titles, so make sure to pre-order now to experience and enjoy the game on your own terms!

Collector's Club: Artorias The Abysswalker 1/4 Scale Statue

DARK SOULS 1/4 SCALE STATUE: ARTORIAS THE ABYSSWALKER

Of all the accolades that FromSoftware's Dark Souls received from both critics and fans alike - those who braved one of the most difficult games ever made, consistent praise was made regarding the underlying level of depth and detail, especially with the nature of the game's lore, presented piecemeal, almost like an archeological puzzle that encouraged constant reinvestigation for the most satisfying of solutions.

It's subtle details like this which make Dark Souls so amazing to fans; the level of care and the patterns that finally reveal themselves makes for such an amazing experience, and with this statue of Artorias The Abysswalker, First 4 Figures have envoked the same spirit within the craftsmanship of this amazing 1/4 scale statue.

Artorias the Abysswalker was one of the few strong enough to even dare traverse The Abyss yet to be overwhelmed, but not before he sacrificed himself to save his loyal companion Sif. Losing his sanity through the effects of hollowification, players encounter Artorias as a terrifying boss, and find themselves quickly humiliated as they are slain over and over again by the wild movements of the Artorias Greatsword.

And as all true Dark Souls fans know, he is the knight featured on the original game cover, fearlessly barreling into The Abyss with sword and and shield in hand. When we do face him in battle, he's without a shield; his shield arm is broken and we fight him while he carries his massive sword in his off hand, and he still manages to be that strong.

Standing at 22 inches tall, there's been no other attempt at creating a figure so respectful of the series; displayed in a pose delightfully seething with a kinetic malice, this statue is a +10 Titanite slab master craft and the perfect display centerpiece for any Dark Souls fan.

Releasing next year Jan, make sure to pre-order while there are still spots left!

Japanese Cult Classic Rhythm Heaven Megamix Localized and Out Today!

RHYTHM HEAVEN MEGAMIX
Nintendo 3DS [Rhythm] June 15, 2016

Rhythm Heaven Megamix, once released exclusively in Japan, is sure to have us tapping our feet to its additive beat as finds its way onto the North America Nintendo eShop and, soon enough, will spread to both Europe and Australia!

If you're a fan of games like WarioWare, with their fast paced minigames and crazy characters, Rhythm Heaven Megamix is definitely a game for you, and, if you've been a Rhythm Heaven fan for a long time, perhaps it'll interest you to know that this will be the first Rhythm Heaven game ever with a story.

Gameplay is deceptively tricky as catchy music and cute visuals prompt players to intuitively follow a beat; by tapping the A, B, and D-pad buttons to the rhythm, the addicitive challenge is on figuring out which exact beat it is that needs to be followed, especially when complications come from the quick and hectic nature of the beat patterns.

Along with that, the new multiplayer mode allows players to connect with their friends and compete against each other with a whole selection of fun multiplayer games. Whether you're playing with friends or alone, Rhythm Heaven Megamix promises a game jampacked with fun and excitement; it's important to point out that Download Play is available, so only one copy of the game is needed, even between four 3DSes!

The ingame points system reveals a whole new level of depth and skill in the gameplay of Rhythm Heaven Megamix. It appears that the game is not as simple as it seems... Though it is relatively easy to score well in one of the 70+ games, that hundred percent score is not as achieveable as you may think. Just imagine the satisfaction when you finally rack up that 100% after hours of perfecting your skills and timing.

Being a rhythm game, the accompanying music is key. The catchy tunes of the game are all produced by a largely popular Japanese producer, Tsunku♂, who has created a whole soundtrack of amazing songs to go alongside the minigames of Rhythm Heaven. Listen closely for the perfect score, or just the good music.

Ready to begin tapping away in Rhythm Heaven? With the game just released today, make sure to stock up on some prepaid point cards and head on over to the Nintendo eShop store to buy the game for $29.99 USD!

Famitsu Interview Reveals Resident Evil 7 is About 65 Percent Complete!

Famitsu got a chance to interview both the producer of Resident Evil 7 (Kawada Massao) and the director (Nakanishi Koushi). The translated interview contains some juicy details such as when the game was developed, how far into development they are, easter eggs such as the "T" in their "Kitchen" VR game and more.

It's been 4 years since we saw a numbered Resident Evil game, when did you begin developing RE7?

Nakanishi: Well we began everything to do with the game around about February 2014, so a little over 2 years.

Kawada: The number one developer Mr Takeuchi Jun (the main developer for the Resident Evil franchise who later became a producer for Resident Evil 5) was the one who came up with the plan to create RE7.

I have some many questions regarding the new game, but primarily at what time is this game set?

Kawada: I can't go in-depth at this time, all I will say is that it is set after the events of Resident Evil 6.
We all decided to go back to its roots to design a "complete horror experience", although, we wanted to show the weakness of the main character being your average person who is thrown into this nightmare not knowing what to do or what lies ahead, that is the main concept of this game.

A true horror experience needs the feeling of utter desperation, and as I'm saying this, I'm saying more than I should haha. Click to read full story

Hail, Caesar! Is on HK DVD and Blu-rays today!

Hail, Caesar! Is on HK DVD and Blu-rays today!

The Coen brothers are back and more satyrical than ever. That is if you get the meta layer that they spin on true life Hollywood scandals. Hail, Caesar! Give us a glimpse into real life celebrity cover ups of the 50's with a Coen twist. Eddie Mannix used to be a problem fixer who kept all Hollywood celebrities' deep dirty secrets in the dark. But in the movie, the Coens made him the hero who saves the day!

Mannix needs to find a scapegoat father for DeeAnna Moran's illegitimate baby, help Hobie Doyle (the "singing cowboy") with his posh British accent, cover up Burt "the tap-dancing sailor" Gurney's communist ideology. At the same time he has to dodge harassment from rival gossip columnists and rescue movie star Baird Whitlock from kidnappers! But that is just another "usual" day for Mannix!

All the characters in the movie are based on real Hollywood big names like Richard Burton, Esther Williams, Gene Kelly and Hedda Hopper. Who doesn't like scandals? And even if you are not familiar with 50s gossip, the movie still functions as a hilarious screwball comedy!

HEY! LISTEN! New Legend of Zelda Coming Soon!

LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD
Wii U, NX [Action/Adventure] TBC 2017

Wake up, Link... After many years of waiting, avid fans (me) of the Legend of Zelda series were finally treated to a proper look at the nineteenth installment of the beloved 30 year old series. Since its initial reveal in January 2013 by producer Eiji Aonuma, fans have eagerly waited for anything 'Zelda U'. The gaming community was given their first sneak peak of the game during E3 2014, and now, at long last, Link's adventure across Hyrule continues in the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, sending the hero off to save Hyrule once more from its terrible fate.

Taking a step away from the Legend of Zelda's traditionally linear format, this new title drops players into the huge and colourful version of Hyrule to explore (twelve times the size of Twilight Princess's world, just to put into perspective the vastness of the map). The freedom of the player is an entirely new concept within the Zelda universe, a strong departure from the linear story-telling and area restrictions of the past games, allowing players to explore the detail rich land of Hyrule at their own pace. Not only does Breath of the Wild break away from the linear story-telling of previous Zelda games, the title aims to move away from fantasy elements and introduce the overall theme of technology to the Zelda universe. The concept of technology was briefly touched upon in Skyward Sword's Lanayru Desert area, going back in time to explore ancient civilisations and their extremely advanced structures and devices, so hopefully, with the focus entirely on this new theme, Nintendo will develop this piece of lore more and deliver a stunning new aspect to the Zelda universe.

In addition to the player freedom, the story is, for the most part, delivered through the surrounding environments rather than characters. Hidden details, old structures like the ruins of the Temple of Time, and even the landscapes itself all tell the story of the Hyrule in which you wander. From what we've seen from past titles, you can expect riveting and engaging story to suck you into hours upon hours of gameplay.

In addition to the change in story pace and ingame exploration, many exciting new features have been introduced to the game that will surely provide players with a fun and interesting experience; most exciting of all, for the first time in thirty years, Link can jump! Joking aside, Breath of the Wild brings us climbing, a variety of new weapons and armour (degradable and replaceable with their own unique uses), sneaking, environment manipulation, day and night cycles (with no creepy moon looming overhead thankfully), and a whole load of new puzzle solving abilities to help players explore the hundreds of shrines and dungeons scatter across Hyrule.

With these new features, players are able to explore freely, even climbing to the highest peaks of Hyrule if they wish, and are provided with more innovative and creative ways to complete the dungeons and their iconic puzzles. Even if it means that we can no longer spend hours on end cutting grass for hearts and rupees due to the new health/hearts system and realism. ;_;

Just one glimpse at the title, colourful artstyle, and beautiful atmospheric world has us, and many Zelda fans, incredibly excited to get our hands on the game. Plus, we want to know why the Master Sword, as shown in the title card and trailer, seems so worn down and rusted away unlike in any game before!

It's dangerous to go alone... Pre-order now!

The Last Guardian - October 25th - It's Really Happening!

THE LAST GUARDIAN
PlayStation®4 [Action-Adventure] Release: October 25th, 2016

Almost a legendary game at this point, Team Ico's long awaited PlayStation exclusive has been floating in the ether for far too long. However, with the huge announcement of it's continual development during E3 2015, those who have been following this game for the last 7 years had reason to believe again, and with E3 2016, not only has The Last Guardian gone gold, it's even been given a release date: October 25th, 2016!

An action adventure game with puzzle and platforming elements, The Last Guardian's appeal has always been about the interaction between that of a boy and Trico, a massive feathered griffin-like creature. The game will revolve around the developing friendship between the two, and almost all gameplay elements will revolve around this dynamic, making for a unique experience, especially with the fact that Trico will act according to his natural instincts. Depending on how a player chooses to direct the boy in his interaction with Trico, the creature will respond in many different ways, much akin to having adopted a feral animal as a pet.

A vast and mysterious world awaits in The Last Guardian, and based on Team Ico's previous works like Shadow of the Colossus and ICO, then it is easy to see why gamers have been so eagerly patient; the developer's past works have been nothing but benchmark quality, creating unforgettable worlds with equally touching stories.

She is sitting down on a high quality base that represents something comfortable and fluffy, perhaps a wooly rug, while blushing ever so gorgeously making you wonder what Seiya has done. Before you can make any advancements however the main mascot of Amagi Brilliant Park, Moffle, is guarding Isuzu with his arms crossed looking incredibly displeased.

Standby for TITANFALL 2

TITANFALL 2
Xbox One™, PlayStation®4, PC [First Person Shooter] October 28, 2016

The first Titanfall was a huge success with its fun and fast-paced multiplayer, innovative combat, and giant Titan mechs. The reinvention of the movement and combat within the first person shooter attracted many players to the title and provided them with a new and engaging take on the genre. Recently announced at E3, Titanfall 2 strives to take that experience even further, adding more enticing features to the already spectacular multiplayer, allowing more players to enjoy the content, and providing fans with the highly requested single player campaign.

With the first game's multiplayer being a huge hit to shooter fans worldwide, Titanfall 2's single player campaign aims to provide excited players with even more content and a deeper experience. Though the game's multiplayer was hugely popular, calls for an offline single player mode did not go unheard. In single player, you play as a Militia rifleman, Jack Cooper, stranded behind enemy lines deep in the war-torn areas of outer-space colonies at the Frontier of space exploration. Thrust into the deep end and facing overwhelming odds, the player must team up with a veteran Titan to uphold a mission they were never meant to carry out.

Along with the introduction of single player is the addition of more features in multiplayer to continue shaping the shooter genre. Respawn continues to build upon the successful foundation of the first game, making sure to deliver their fans and new players with a rewarding experience through new Titans, deeper Pilot abilities, more customisation options, an expanded arsenal of weapons, and a robust progression system sure to satisfy fans. In the next installment of the game, are sure to be treated with a new and improved multiplayer system to enjoy in before, inbetween, and after completing the single player campaign.

Previously an Xbox One exclusive title, Titanfall 2 will now be available for PS4 for the first time ever for the franchise, allowing more players to enjoy the exciting multiplayer mode and deep story available throughout the offline single player campaign. Pre-orders available now!

Resident Evil: Biohazard - Redefining Survival Horror, Even After 20 Years

RESIDENT EVIL 7: BIOHAZARD

PlayStation 4 Xbox One [First Person Survival Horror] Release: Jan. 24, 2017

With all the excitement surrounding the upcoming reception of VR tech, specifically the PlayStation VR, we've see a lot of games which center around creating an immersive experience for the gamer. During it's pre-release tour, one of the tech demos which really stood out was Capcom's Kitchen which we personally got to try; all we can say is that it was one of the scariest moments in gaming we've had.

At the PlayStation E3 Conference, first person footage of a untitled horror game instantly gave off the aesthetic of Kitchen, and lo and behold, the trailer above is indeed an announcement for the next canonical Resident Evil; Capcom has confirmed that Kitchen has a heavy influence on the upcoming survival horror game.

"Terrifying fans at events across the globe last year, the PlayStation VR "KITCHEN" tech demo was developed utilizing the RE Engine's VR oriented tools, and is the foundation on which the talented Resident Evil team has crafted the immersive horror experience in Resident Evil 7. Powered by the RE Engine in tandem with industry leading audio and visual technologies, Resident Evil 7 is poised to deliver a disturbingly realistic experience that will define the next era in horror entertainment."

"Resident Evil 7 embodies the series' signature gameplay elements of exploration and tense atmosphere that first coined "survival horror" some twenty years ago; meanwhile, a complete refresh of gameplay systems simultaneously propels the survival horror experience to the next level."

While RE 7 is set to release for next year, PlayStation Plus members can download a non-VR demo in the meantime on the PlayStation Network. We've literally just tried it, and without spoiling anything, even though it's a departure from the traditional 3rd person Resident Evil format, the result is a genuinely terrifying experience, and a great portent to the macabre thrills to come.

Pre-orders are now open, and demos will roll out for both Xbox One and PC before launch. Definitely something to look forward to, and definitely one to watch for all horror fans.

ReCore - The Xbox One Exclusive Finally Gets Details~

ReCore
Xbox One™, PC [Action/Adventure] September 13, 2016

From its first cinematic trailer appearance in June 2015 at Microsoft's E3 briefing, ReCore, an initially unknown and unheard-of concept, drummed up interest and anticipation through its stunning visuals and unique concept. It only makes sense, especially when this project is between both legendary developer Keiji Inafune (creator of the beloved Mega Man series) and Armature Studio of Metroid Prime fame.

At this year's E3 Microsoft conference, players were finally treated with the first good look at the upcoming action adventure game; from character introductions to proper gameplay, we were all enraptured by the exciting content in store of us in the next few months.

Following the young protagonist, Joule Adams, you travel across the vast desert world of Far Eden, a place where humanity sought to live in peace with the 'Corebots', but after centuries have all but disappear and all bots have gone rogue, to find new hope in the vast and unforgiving environment. Accompanied by your Corebot companion, Mack, explore the old ruins of civilisation, defeat dangerous enemies through tactics and teamwork, and build up your party of Corebots to further expand the reach of your exploration.

ReCore presents players with a unique world to adventure their way through, an interesting idea that has most definitely caught our attention with its stunning visuals to the variety of amazingly designed robot companions at your command. The dynamic environment subject to random changes that provide players with more and more detail to uncover and places to explore, such as sandstorms uncovering once buried ruins or revealing extensions to previously explored areas, and the additions of new Corebots to your party assisting you in your travels, allowing you to reach heights previously out of reach or clearing away paths to different sections of the world.

With ReCore's release date set for September 13th this year, we will soon be able to explore the desert world of Far Eden and uncover all of the amazing areas and robot companions available for us to discover.

Pre-orders are now available for ReCore, an exclusive only for the Xbox One and PC.

Elder Scrolls Online: New DLC Launching TOMORROW!

ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE
PlayStation®4, Xbox One™, PC [MMORPG]

Over the past year, Elder Scrolls Online has gathered quite the online community with over 7 million players enjoying the game worldwide. Though the base content is already thriving with interesting characters, rich Elder Scrolls lore, and exciting quests to take part in, DLC and updates are always welcome to keep the game fresh and appealing towards other players and fans of the game. During Bethesda's E3 conference, some exciting announcements on upcoming changes and DLC had us all excited and eager to play.

"Sweet mother, sweet mother, send you child unto me; for the sins of the unworthy must be baptised in blood and fear." Any Elder Scrolls fan would recognise the iconic Black Sacrament spoken to summon an assassin from the Dark Brotherhood, and now, with the new upcoming DLC, players have a chance to join the wellknown Dark Brotherhood. A fan favourite throughout the Elder Scrolls games, after the Thieves Guild DLC it was expected that Bethesda would eventually add yet another dimension to their already huge world, and in the form of their most intriguing faction.

With the Dark Brotherhood DLC, players are treated to a whole new questline to follow, along with signature weapons, armour, and more as seen in the chilling trailer. Ruthless, stealth-based, players (or any fan of the Elder Scrolls series) will enjoy all that this shadowy organisation has to offer. Expect to be stalking in the shadows across Tamriel and hunting down your targets by June 14, 2016.

Another change coming to the Elder Scrolls Online is one that many fans have clamoured for over the past year is the removal of 'content barriers'. As soon as your character is set loose into the world of Tamriel, restrictions are evident. Now, however, players are free of those restrictions and are able to explore the whole fleshed out world Bethesda has created for us. It should be noted, and come off as a given, that the alliances assigned will still apply in PvP zones of the game, retaining the story element of the alliances fighting in a war for the Imperial Throne during an era of chaos. The 'One Tamriel' update mainly frees players of the restrictions for exploration and questing purposes, unlocking and adding more content for players to uncover. So whether you're part of the Ebonheart Pact or the Aldmeri Dominion, the entirety of Tamriel is open for all players to explore and enjoy.

With the addition of both the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood questlines, hopefully we will begin to see the addition of other popular guilds and questlines appealing to a variety of playstyles and classes in the near future, or just providing new questlines and content for players to enjoy. Having Tamriel open for all no matter what alliance potentially adds far more appeal and content for avid players of the game to explore, opening up the possibility for more fun and engaging quests. So far, Bethesda has created an incredible world through the Elder Scrolls series and we look forward to what new updates or DLCs they will surprise us with next.

THE HYPE IS REAL: A Berserk Game In The Making?!

BERSERK MUSOU
PlayStation®4, PlayStation®3, PS®Vita, PC [Hack 'N Slash] Release: TBC

If you're a Berserk fan, it's not hard to be excited about this recent announcement by Koei Tecmo and Omega Force. Afterall, if you are said fan, then you're used to waiting - I mean cue all the "about time" disembarkment + Id@lmaster jokes - I think we are collectively numb to the pain like Guts is when the cursed seal activates...

So with any thing Berserk, we are apt to eat it up immediately, and from the looks of this teaser trailer, long time Berserk veterans will instantly recognize this scene from the dark fantasy epic.

The real question is though, is will the Musou style format work for this game? Our guess is that it will, especially with the copious amounts of blood that is to be expected - can someone say Hundred Man Slayer Guts?!

As day one followers of Miura sensei's opus, you can be sure that we'll be sticking on any and all updates like a nightmare ghost baby~

Dishonored 2 E3 First Details + Pre-Orders!

DISHONORED 2
PlayStation®4, Xbox One™, PC [First Person Stealth] Release: November 11, 2016

Bethesda has always had the increasingly difficult task of going further than each one of their last works - each one of their worlds built have been a unique and fresh take on the genres they tackle; their attention to the finite details within each expansive environment is some of the most notable work seen in video games, and with their latest annoucement at E3, we can only hope to see what's coming next.

Recently announced at Bethesda's E3 conference, Dishonored 2 looks to be an exciting take on the stealth game genre, introducing new characters, abilities, locations, and engaging and interesting gameplay that captures the attention of fans and new players alike.

Returning to the world of Dishonored, players are introduced to characters both new and old. Familiar faces such as Corvo Attano and Emily Kaldwin returning once again to the city of Dunwall, but playing different roles compared to the first game especially with the addition of Emily as a new playable protagonist. In addition, the Dishonored universe expands through a new setting, the city of Karnaca, expanding the world for fans of the first game and allowing new players to immerse themselves into the world without experience from the first game. Along with that, the new setting provides players with an unpredictable environment to explore and manipulate, full of eye-catching detail, new characters, and a slew of cunning enemies to take down!

With the introduction of Emily Kaldwin as the protagonist comes a variety of new abilities added to the already vast skill set given to us in the first game, allowing players to explore new techniques and strategies to accomplish their goals from the sneak-based 'Shadow Walk' to the puzzle solving 'time travel' mechanic. Perhaps in one playthrough, you could 'blink', or teleport, through heavily guarded areas and 'mesmerise' enemies to keep the kill count to a minimum and end the game with a pacifist ending; or rather play more combat based, performing drop assassinations or 'Shadow Walk', melting into darkness and dragging enemies away, to make use of the huge arsenal of combat abilities available! Any choice of which way a scenario is handled will ultimately affect the ending, encouraging players to replay the game over again to explore different strategies and multiple endings.

Pre-orders for the game are open now, and we will keep you posted for the limited edition!
